Okee, just taking a quick break. I'm reeeally close to finishing that avy...finally~!

As for Target, my interview with them went swimmingly. I'm still waiting for the results of it though. I spoke with Mariallis (sp?) today and asked her if I got the job. She said I should be getting a postcard or letter from them telling me whether or not I did. But after ten days since my interview on Oct. 29th, I have yet to get anything of the sort. If I don't get a letter or postcard from them tomorrow then I will call them and tell them to re-send the thing...I am determined not to fail!! I will get a job, I will have the money for my dad's old truck, AND I will get out of my Grammy's house and get my own place in Ohio if it's the last thing I do!!

My tablet arrived in the mail this afternoon!!

I've been spending the evening, and some of the night trying it out. It's really awesome. 8x5, comes with a mouse and the stylus is pressure-sensitive.

I'm gonna color the images for -chan's journal skin tonight and then try my best to dedicate all day tomorrow to finishing -chan's avatar.

Again I feel the need to apologize to everyone for not being as active as I used to on this site. Ever since I started living here with my grandma, uncle, and cousin, circumstances have changed a bit and I'm trying to balance my RL obligations with my Online ones and it gets a bit overwhelming sometimes

Anyways, on a more positive note, I've got a couple random piks to upload for you guys. Go check 'em out b

Dang...I just realized it's been ages since I've updated my journal. I've had such a busy week. I've been job hunting, filling out applications, chatting with friends. But the good news is...I've got a call from Target. Yes, they're looking for seasonal help, and I got an Interview scheduled for the 29th of this month~!

I really hope I get the job . Cuz when I get it, I'll be able to afford the insurance on the truck my dad's gonna give me. It's a black '94 Dodge Dakota. He had it for a long time so...there are some problems with it. The radio doesn't work, it needs a new fan for the AC/heater, but it still runs suprisingly well. I think that when I get the truck I might either try to get it fixed, or just trade it in for something better. Still haven't decided yet.


I've updated my project list as well. But...since I've been busy, I didn't get much done OTL *shot'd*

Okee, some of you who have requested an icon from me were wondering when I'll get them up. So I've decided to add them to the queue in my Project List so that you guys would know the status of yer avy construction (^_~).

In other news, I'm just about done with the Millie x Andrea pairing and will upload a WIP to my scraps shortly (about 5-7min after I post this journal). I've learned of a new coloring technique from this one time I was on iScribble with Michi-chama, and thought I might try it out. It's not new, but new to me XD. I'm coloring under the picture using multiple layers (before that, I would just use one layer, bucket, re-line where needed, shade, done)

Uncle Tommy has slightly improved his scanning skillz, but it's still not as good as scanning it myself. All the scans he's sent me were in .Jpeg format, making it difficult to color using the above mentioned method. I mean there are white and black specks all over where the lines are, so I'm having to redo every part of the lineart digitally! щ(°Д°щ )

I'm starting to wish Aunt Jenny would hurry up and mail me my scanner... o(╥﹏╥ )o
